Ripple ™ Tool

The Ripple tool generates a high-frequency harmonic vibration along the drill string, creating a controlled “ripple” effect that helps minimise sustained contact between the drill string and the wellbore. By reducing static friction, the tool improves weight transfer to the bit and promotes more efficient drill string movement.

Using a proprietary mechanical design, the Ripple converts hydraulic power from the drilling fluid into controlled eccentric motion, providing a simple, effective way to reduce friction without relying on electronics or external power.
